So I love asexual Courfeyrac headcanons because he’s the one people don’t traditionally expect because Courf just loves love so much.
But hang with me. This here is what floats my boat like none other.
Imagine, if you will, Courf as many do - he loves sex, okay? If people call him a slut, don’t bother him, but he will lecture them on how hurtful that term can be and how sex is a choice and a physical activity and an expression of emotion and unrelated to one’s morality.
But then we have asexual Combeferre. And these two are NUTS for each other but Combeferre keeps shying away. Because he knows how much Courf’ is into the physical side of things and he isn’t into it. And finally Courf just can’t take it and asks him out and Combeferre blushes and stammers and finally confesses why he’s been ignoring the hints all along.
And Courf is like “omg you precious thing, I don’t care about that if I have you, cuddling is also good and kissing if that’s a thing you like”
Because, yeah, he does love sex but, really, he loves Combeferre more.
(And maybe Combeferre is demi and they find that out way down the line to their mutual delight but maybe he’s not and he’s straight up ace but either way they are happy and precious together.)
